RIGHT-BACK Jeremy Walker has become the third player to follow manager Danny Cowley to Braintree Town from Concord Rangers.
Walker lined up for the Iron in Friday night’s 2-1 win against Southend United.
And Cowley is delighted to again be working with the Australian.
“Jez has signed for us now and I’m really happy about that,” said Cowley.
“He’s someone who was with us all last year at Concord so I know he’s a good player.
“He’s come over from Australia and is an under-23 international with them.
“He got a bit of stick from crowds last year due to his long flowing hair, but Aussies are very competitive, just like England are finding out in the cricket at the moment.”
Centre-back Matt Fry and attacking midfielder Taylor Miles have also joined Braintree from Concord so far this summer.
