BOWERS & Pitsea will face the county’s newest senior status club, Wadham Lodge, in the second round of the Essex Senior Cup.
The Walthamstowe-based team joined the Essex Senior League this season and will travel to the Len Salmon Stadium to face new league rivals Bowers following a first round bye.
Hullbridge Sports will be in first round action, hosting Barking at Lower Road in a tie that must be played on or before September 5.
The winners of the match will be at home to Southend Manor in the second round, with Basildon United travelling to Newham.
Second round ties must be played on or before October 3.
Southend United, Billericay Town, Canvey Island, Concord Rangers, East Thurrock United and Great Wakering Rovers are all exempt to the third round.
First round: Stansted v Stanway Rovers, Saffron Walden Town v FC Clacton, Hullbridge Sports v Barking. Second round: Wivenhoe Town v Stansted or Stanway Rovers, Bowers & Pitsea v Wadham Lodge, Ilford v Saffron Walden Town or FC Clacton, Newham v Basildon United, Hullbridge Sports or Barking v Southend Manor, Halstead Town v Takeley, Waltham Forest v Burnham Ramblers.
