THE PREVIEW: Rovers have been superb at the start of the season, winning three of their four matches in league and cup, while grabbing two last-gasp goals to draw the other.

Manager Dan Trenkel made few changes to his squad over the summer, with the same group of players thriving at the start of this season that only won once in their first 11 games at the start of the last.

Wroxham won 4-0 at Rovers 10 months ago, but this promises to be an entirely different story.

WHAT HE SAYS: Manager Trenkel said: Wroxham will be a very tough game for us. They have beaten Thurrock and drawn with Harlow already so that shows you the calibre of team we are up against. They have lost Christy Finch (to Leiston) and he was one of the league’s top scorers last year, but they have Nathan Stone who has consistently been one of the best front men in the Ryman leagues for a number of years now.

They will expect to come to our place and beat us and so we have to make sure that we are at our best.

TEAM NEWS: No injury worries came out of the match against Tilbury in the week, although Eljay Worrell rolled his ankle in the last 10 minutes. He is expected to be fit for tomorrow’s game.

The versatile Joe Skeels has been loaned to Essex Senior league outfit Burnham Ramblers on a dual-registration basis.
