THE PREVIEW: Canvey will be confident of making it two wins from two when they travel to basement club Farnborough tomorrow.

The Gulls beat second-bottom VCD Athletic in the week to end a run of three straight defeats, and travel to a beleaguered side who have lost four of their five games, having started the season late as they had appealed a decision that demanded they pay a £30,000 bond.

And Canvey will be looking to add to their woe tomorrow, with Martin Tuohy looking to become the first man in the division to reach double figures in terms of goals, after his brace on Tuesday took him to nine for the campaign.

WHAT HE SAYS: Gulls boss Danny Heale said: “We are in a good frame of mind ahead of the match after a result in midweek. I don’t know a great deal about Farnborough to be honest but I hear they are a young side and it will be a chance for us to push on.
