THE PREVIEW: Concord Rangers return to league action hoping to banish the memories of last month.
The Beach Boys lost four and drew the other of their five matches in September, going out of the FA Cup in the process, and start October against Eastbourne Borough.
The Sports sit 10th in the standings, seven places above Concord who will be looking to record their first win over the Sussex side tomorrow.
Concord have drawn two and lost two of their matches since winning promotion to the division in 2013.
WHAT HE SAYS: Concord boss Flanagan said: “After getting to the first round last year going out on Saturday was a huge disappointment. “Eastbourne are a footballing side with a good mixture of young and experienced players within their squad. They will look to pass and move. Every game is a challenge for us and one we need to start rising too. Whenever you lose a game or are on a bad spell the aim is always to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. That will be the aim this Saturday and every game to come.
“Our new assistant manager Glen Alzapiedi has settled back in well – he is highly regarded by people at the club so everyone has made him feel welcome once again. It also helps he knows a lot of the squad so this is good as well and he has been working the players hard in the sessions he has put on.”
