THE PREVIEW: Billericay have enjoyed their most satisfying week of the season, after three successive victories gave the league table a very different look.

Nine points later, Town sit 12th, just three points off the play-offs, and they are looking to carry that momentum into the match with Staines tomorrow.

Staines have only lost once on their travels so far this term and were triumphant on their last visit to New Lodge in 2013, winning 3-2 when both competed in the Conference South.

Billericay will be looking to Mike Fondop to continue his terrific recent form, having scored five goals in three games, including two in the midweek win at VCD Athletic.

WHAT HE SAYS: Town boss Craig Edwards said: “I think a lot of people would have expected Staines to be favourites this year but they haven’t had the best start. But I know it will be a real test for us.

“We are creating chances and we have the players to finish those chances so things are going well for us.

“Mike (Findop) has had a great start but a lot of our players are doing well at the moment.

“We were 19th last week we are now three points off third. This is going to be a very open league this year. There is no Margate or Maidstone and it will be fascinating.”
