THE PREVIEW: East Thurrock are the division’s form team and will be hoping to find themselves top of the standings come the end of the evening.

Rocks won 2-0 at Burgess Hill Town on Saturday to lift them to second in the standings, only behind leaders Dulwich on goal difference.

Lewis Smith and Tom Wraight got the goals, as Rocks named a 16-man squad for the first time in a number of weeks due to a number of injury troubles.

But they now turn their attention to Harrow, as they look for their sixth away victory in seven matches.

Harrow Borough will be looking for a busier February, after January was decimated by the bad weather.

Harrow were beaten 4-0 on Saturday by Dulwich, although they did get the better of Billericay Town in their last home fixture.

Goals have not been in short supply in recent matches between the two. There have been 18 goals in the last four matches, with Harrow coming out on top twice, although Rocks did win 4-2 in the last meeting.

WHAT HE SAID: Rocks boss John Coventry said: “I can’t remember being at the top of the league in January before. We may have been at the top at the end of August, but certainly nothing like this.

“I said at the start of the season that this was the strongest squad I had ever had and I maintain that. Some people questioned that but I am being proved right.

“Whenever we play Harrow there seems to be plenty of goals. They had a poor result on Saturday but I am led to believe the score line was harsh on them. You don’t know what you are going to get with Harrow half the time, so we will need to be on our guard.

“We dominated the first-half against Burgess Hill and deserved the goals when they came. They came into it at the end but we were good.”
