CONCORD RANGERS/NATIONAL LEAGUE SOUTH
Concord Rangers are now an established club in the National League South, with this their fourth season in the second tier of non-league football.
Adam Flanagan, in his first season as manager, led the Beach Boys to a third consecutive top 10 finish as the club also won the Essex Senior Cup for the third time in as many years.
And Flanagan has prepared a difficult looking pre-season, with matches against Millwall, Southend, Braintree and recently promoted Folkestone Invicta and Maidstone United also in their schedule.
And Flanagan is excited at the prospect.
“As a player and now as a manager I am looking forward to the matches arriving during pre-season,” he said. “We have a good balance to our fixtures this season with two league clubs, two National League teams, two Ryman Premier teams and a Ryman North team to start.
“The highlight for me has to be the Canvey game as it will be my first taste of a local derby which, by all accounts, are always lively.
“Similarly I am excited because it will be our last game before the National League South campaign starts the following week.”
