l RUNDOWN: Concord have not enjoyed the first six weeks of the season in front of their home fans, but will hope their struggles at home can be halted against underdogs AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Two divisions separate the sides, with Rushden & Diamonds playing their football in the Northern League Division One.
However, Concord have failed to score at home in five league games and are lacking in confidence, currently sitting bottom of the National League South.
Adam Flanagan has lost his one and only match in the competition as manager so far, going down to Wingate & Finchley last year, something he will want to change.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds sit eighth in the league after five games.
l MANAGER’S VIEW: Beach Boys boss Adam Flanagan said: “I think the FA Cup will be a nice distraction from the league – it’s a great cup to be involved in so the players should be excited and looking forward to the game.
“On paper the fixture looks a favourable one but in reality it will be a tough game as all of the pressure will all be on us.
“Going out early last year was disappointing and having had some great memories as a player it would equally be nice now to have similar experiences as a manager.
“It would also be nice for the club to have a good cup run after experiencing the first round once before.”
l TEAM NEWS: Attacker Tom Ranger continues his return to fitness, while full-back Tom Stephen is a long-term injury absentee.
