Ryman Premier League

BILLERICAY Town made it six straight victories as they eased past Worthing 3-0 at New Lodge.

Town have been in blistering form since the start of the September, taking their cup form into the league and they were worthy winners.

The first goal came mid-way through the first-half and it was the second goal in a week for Kreshnic Krasniqi.

The midfielder picked up the ball outside the box and moved forward, avoiding several challenges and striking at goal. His initial effort was saved but he followed up to net with aplomb.

The second came just seven minutes later and it was Greg Cundle, the Gillingham loanee, who got it.

He cut inside a tackle on the edge of the box and picked his spot impressively.

The third goal and the one that ended the game came four minutes after half-time. A deep cross found the run of Conor Hubble and he buried a header into the far corner.

Jack Giddens in the home goal was largely untested although he had to be on his toes to keep out a poor back-pass.

Town continued to probe but they were worthy winners against Worthing, as they continue to climb the table.
