CONCORD Rangers begin their bid for an unprecedented fourth straight Essex Senior Cup title with a tough match against rivals Chelmsford City.
The Beach Boys have been untouchable in the competition in the last three years but face a difficult ask following the third round draw this afternoon.
Adam Flanagan’s side will host the Clarets who, unlike Concord, have had a flying start to the National League South season, sitting third with the Beach Boys bottom.
Southend United have been drawn against Dagenham & Redbridge, while the other football league club in the competition, Colchester United, will travel to Essex Senior League side Hullbridge Sports.
East Thurrock United face a potential banana skin in the form of AFC Hornchurch while Ryman Premier League duo Canvey Island and Billericay Town have both been drawn away from home, with Ryman North duo Waltham Abbey and Romford their respective opponents.
Bowers & Pitsea welcome Stanway Rovers and Basildon United’s reward for reaching the third round is a home clash against Great Wakering Rovers.
All ties will be played on or before Saturday, November 12.
