l RUNDOWN: Great Wakering Rovers picked up a vital three points in their last league match at Wroxham but are likely to face a tougher away day at Maldon tomorrow.

Rovers and Maldon turn their attention to the FA Trophy preliminary round tomorrow, with Rovers exiting at this stage last season against Royston Town, comfortably beaten 3-0 that day.

Wakering boss Gary Ansell is keen for his team to get on a consistent run, and is eyeing back-to-back wins for the first time this season tomorrow.

l MANAGER'S VIEW: Wakering chief Gary Ansell said: "It is not the easiest of cup ties, but we always seem to get tricky ones and we will need to be at our best to qualify.

"They are a match for most in the Ryman North and possibly above but will will give it all we've got as always.

"We have lost Leon which is a blow but we will bring others in and we will be OK. I have a good group here."

l TEAM NEWS: Wakering will come face-to-face with Liam Nash, the striker who left for the Jammers just last month.

Leon Gordon has left Wakering to join Concord Rangers, with Gary Ansell having a full squad to choose from.
