l RUNDOWN: Spirits at Concord Rangers have been lifted in the past fortnight by the return of striking duo Jordan Chiedozie and Tony Stokes, and manager Adam Flanagan will need them to start firing immediately as they visit Margate.

The Beach Boys are bottom of the standings ahead of kick-off and will have targeted this match as one where points are very much a realistic possibility.

Following a wretched run at home, Concord have been much happier on their travels.

They did the double over the Kent side last season, with 2-1 and 1-0 victories, and have won the last four meetings.

And a fifth on the trot would be most welcome tomorrow afternoon.

Margate are coming off the back of a hugely disappointing home defeat to Harrow Borough in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Victory would have set up a clash with League One giants Northampton Town, but it will be the Ryman Premier League side that face the Cobblers in the next round.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Concord Rangers assistant manager Glen Alzapiedi said: “Team spirit has been quite good recently and the squad has trained very well recently. We will definitely be ready for tomorrow.

"The players that have come in (Leon Gordon, Stokes and Chiedozie) have been here in the past and are looking sharp.

"I think the squad we have is more than capable of achieving a higher placing in the league. But we haven't got the results we need to justify that and the league table doesn't lie. We are where we deserve to be but the standard of the players means we should be doing better.

"Adam went to watch Margate on Tuesday so we know about them. Hopefully we can exploit their weaknesses.

"We had some problems at home in the Ryman Premier League and the only season where we were very good at home was in Danny Cowley's last season.

"Maybe it will do us a favour being away and we look forward to the challenge."
