SOUTHEND Manor were pegged back by Great Wakering Rovers as the two played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the Essex Senior League.
Manor had taken the lead through Micky Hopkins after 15 minutes as they looked to maintain their impressive start to the campaign.
But Neil Richmond levelled for Rovers five minutes before half-time to hand Rovers their fourth point of term.
Basildon United continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 win against Wadham Lodge.
An injury-time winner from Concord Rangers loanee Jack Renew ensured the points, after Lodge had levelled on 85 minutes.
Tommy Barton had earlier put the Bees ahead.
Hullbridge Sports came from behind to earn a 3-2 win against Sporting Bengal United.
Having fallen behind to a penalty, Sports pegged Bengal back quickly through Angus Poole.
An own goal then handed Sports the advantage after half-time, only for a free-kick to draw the hosts level.
But a superb lob 20 minutes from time from Jimmy Cox won the match.
