CONCORD Rangers extended their unbeaten run to four matches as they held play-off chasing Havant & Waterlooville to a 1-1 draw.
Steve Cawley had handed the Beach Boys an early lead, although the south coast team levelled shortly afterwards.
What followed was largely away pressure, but Louis Wells’ goal was not to be breached again.
Havant were strong favourites against second-bottom Concord but the home side held their own in the early exchanges.
Indeed, they took the lead with the first clear-cut chance of the afternoon.
A Lewis Taaffe corner was played to the front post and Cawley flicked superbly over away goalkeeper Ryan Young with 10 minutes on the clock.
However, newly-promoted Havant were not in the play-off places for nothing and 10 minutes later it was all square.
A deep cross from the left was met by top-scorer Prior, who climbed highest to equalise.
Ben Greenhalgh, returned to the club ahead of the clash, shot down the throat of Young but there was little between the two teams.
Andreas Robinson struck across goal with only an excellent save from Louis Wells keeping the scores level.
All square at half-time, neither side took the ascendancy in the first 15 minutes of the second-half.
Prior saw a goal chalked off for offside as Havant began to take charge, with James Hayter coming even closer.
The former Bournemouth striker found space 10 yards out but hammered a close-range header off the outside of the post.
And that was how it stayed, as Concord remain second-from bottom.
Concord Rangers: Wells, Taaffe, Brown, Lee, Roast, Knight, Da Costa (Farrell 73’), Nasha, Cox (Akinwande 73’), Cawley, Greenhalgh
