HARRY Wheeler says Jamie O’Hara will make just his second appearance of the season in the Essex Senior Cup quarter-final at Harlow Town tonight.

The former Premier League midfielder has played less than 45 minutes of football this term. The midfielder was substituted having been a half-time replacement in September’s FA Cup tie at Thamesmead Town.

But Billericay’s head coach Wheeler says he will play a role in the last eight tie, after tit was moved to Harlow due to concerns over Billericay’s pitch.

“It will be a tough game for us,” he said. “Jamie O’Hara will feature and I am interested to see how he will do.

“Harlow are good at home and we want to keep ticking over against good opposition. It is a chance to do well in a cup too.”

Wheeler added that Louie Theophanous and Leo Chambers would be given every chance after they were sent on month-long loans to Kingstonian.

He said the pair, who were due to make their debut against Enfield Town last night, need to get minutes under their belts.

“Leo Chambers needs minutes and a run in the team after his injury but we aren’t conceding so it is hard for him to get back in.

“Louie is capable of winning games on his own and I want them both to do what Matt Paine did. He was two hours away from going on a season long loan and now he is one of our best performers.”
