THE MATCH: Billericay Town head to Enfield Town expecting another three points as their title bid nears its conclusion.

Town, who played Brightlingsea Regent last night (see echo-news.co.uk/sport for a match report), will fancy their chances after some impressive recent form.

And they face an Enfield side who have failed to match the heights of previous seasons this time around.

The 17th placed team were beaten 5-0 on Easter Monday by Harrow Borough and, like Billericay, they also played on Thursday night.

It took two goals in the final 18 minutes for Billericay to win the reverse fixture, Sam Deering and Billy Bricknell on target that day.

THE INSIGHT: “We only played last night but I will play the strongest team available that isn’t fatigued,” said head coach Harry Wheeler. “The players will say they are fit but sometimes they are not.

“We have got reports on Enfield and when we played them earlier in the season I thought they were good.

“They suffered a shock result against Harrow the other day but everyone can have a bad day.

“It is nice to know they only played 48 hours ago as well so they will be tired too. But I don’t know if that will give either side an edge.”

THE TEAM NEWS: Adam Cunnington and Kevin Foley return. Nick Wheeler and Luke Rooney could feature.
