HAVING successfully negotiated their FA Cup entry last weekend, Concord Rangers expect to have more of their injured squad men returning over the next five days.
The Canvey-based side host Waltham Forest tomorrow before Tuesday’s trip to Chatham — a club that provides Rangers’ joint boss Danny Scopes with happy memories after he scored there to save Great Wakering from relegation during his regular playing days.
Scopes and joint boss Danny Cowley will get their own taste of playing action on Sunday when they turn out for the Concord side taking on an ex-England XI at Thames Road (2pm).
But for the more serious soccer action tomorrow Greg Tiffin is ready to resume from an ankle knock, Bradley Walsh is back from suspension and Tommy Lee is available.
That leaves just Steve Willis, Scott Curley and Lee Smith on the crocks’ list.
