CANVEY boss Glen Alzapiedi says he does not anticipate any more comings or goings with his squad for the “foreseeable future”.
Alzapiedi has released midfielders Danny Spendlove, Danny Kerrigan and Kevin Dobinson, and defender Andrew West since taking over from John Batch last month.
He has also let young full-back Jamie Matthews go out on loan to lower league Southend Manor. Alzapiedi has added central midfielder James Comley and winger Dean Mason as he tries to add more mobility to his side.
And the former Ware boss says he is now happy with what he has in place.
He said: “We are down to 16 senior players now with one other young lad in Albert Levett, and the goalkeepers on top of that.
“And that means we have five subs available on match days, and Albert will get his chance.
“And the squad will stay the way it is now for the foreseeable future.
“For the first time this season we now have good attacking options on the bench.
“That was one of the biggest problems John had early in the season, so we now hope we have the right mix in place to finish the season well.”
