WEST Ham's bid to put more daylight between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone suffered a further blip at Upton Park this afternoon.
Following their 3-0 defeat by Manchester United last time out, the Hammers lost 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers.
Things started badly for the Hammers when Kevin Davies headed the visitors in front after 10 minutes.
Jack Wilshere doubled the advantage in the 16th minute with a low shot from inside the penalty area.
Bolton were reduced to 10 men in the 72nd minute when Tamir Cohen was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
Alessandro Diamanti pulled a goal back for Gianfranco Zola's side in the 88th minute, but the Hammers were unable to grab a share of the spoils in the five minutes of stoppage time.
