RICHARD Wright could be on the verge of a summer switch to West Ham.
The former Ipswich goalkeeper, who was released at the end of last season, is apparently in talks with the Hammers about a move back to Upton Park.
Wright, who also had two spells with Ipswich, was with West Ham during the 2007/08 season.
However, he very much filled the role of bench-warmer – only making three Carling Cup appearances.
The 32-year-old was brought back to Portman Road in the summer of 2008, by then manager and former team-mate Jim Magilton.
But a loss of form, followed by a long-term injury, ruined last season for him and he was deemed surplus to requirements by boss Roy Keane.
League One Charlton are also understood to be interested in the ex-England man.
