BASILDON golfer Daniel Brooks continued his impressive recent form as he pocketed 17,000 euros at the Volvo China Open.
Brooks, who has now made the cut in the last four European Tour tournaments he has competed in, came in joint 39th with nine under par, 13 shots off the winner Li Haotong.
The 17, 016 euros prize takes Brooks’ winnings to 119, 780 so far this season, leaving his 83rd in the season-ending Race to Dubai.
Brooks and Matt Southgate will tee off in the Trophee Hassan II event in Morocco, beginning today.
Southgate will be aiming to follow up the best performance of his career to date at the Shenzhen International, when he won 28, 848.
