SOUTH Essex duo Matthew Southgate and Daniel Brooks will return to action today in the Paul Lawrie Match Play in Aberdeen.
Thorpe Hall Golf Club member Southgate has enjoyed a superb season to date, and currently sits 49th in the Race to Dubai following a number of excellent performances.
Southgate pocketed 107, 510 euros in his last outing at the 145th Open Championship and returns to action at the Fidra Course at Archerfield Links in Aberdeen today.
He begins at 9.45am against Krisoffer Broberg in round one, with Brooks teeing off this afternoon.
Brooks, from Basildon, sits 103rd in the Race to Dubai and begins against Gareth Wright at 2.45pm today.
