Thorpe Hall: The men supported the March Stableford in large numbers on Saturday and were greeted with a sunny but very cold day.
The division one group, off handicaps 12 and below, had five players with 38 points.
Paul King, off three handicap, came out top, on countback, with Nick Faint, off 12, second. followed by Bruce Turner off 11, Paul Saunders off 12 and Mickey Davis off 11, who has been cut to 10 handicap.
In division two, Paul Beattie, playing off 19, scored an exceptional 44 points and has been cut to 16. Runner-up Malcolm Werry, also off 19, scored a more normal 38 points and has been cut to 18 handicap.
On Sunday, the division one medal was decided on countback.
Steve Gargrave had a net 70 off 10 handicap and came first , followed by Lou Higgon off four. In division two, Julian Chesworth had an excellent net 65, off 14, and has been cut to 12 handicap and now plays in division one.
Second on countback was Bob Cameron, with net 74 off 18 handicap.
At mid-day the rescheduled St David's Day Mixed tournament, which had been rained off the previous week was staged, and the winners were the recently appointed vice-captain Neil Johnson and his wife Issy scoring 37 points.
