Downey sees off top order
Hadleigh under-16s saw off Harlow by eight wickets in their latest Mobil Matchplay 40 over clash.
A good opening spell by with the ball by newcomer Andrew Downey ripped into the Harlow top order, producing match figures of 3-9 off four overs.
Both Sam Rowe and Lewis Powell took two wickets each and that ensured Harlow were bowled out for just 57 from 18.3 overs.
Hadleigh, who reached the semi-final of last season's competition, overtook that target for the loss of two wickets, with Oliver Wagstaff top scoring with 24 not out.
