World Cup dream of Canvey's Bourne is dashed

CANVEY Island defender Chris Bourne's World Cup dream is over after his Guyana side were eliminated from the CONCACAF Stage 2 qualifiers by Suriname.
The Gulls player was not involved as Suriname secured a 4-1 aggregate victory with a 2-1 win in Georgetown.
