Sebastian Edgar unable to stop Great Britain's handball side starting their Olympic campaign with defeat to France.

BASILDON born Sebastian Edgar was unable to stop Great Britain's handball side starting their Olympic campaign with a convincing 44-15 defeat to France.

The game was Britain's first handball clash in the Games for 76 years.

Britain are now back in action against Sweden on Tuesday.
