BILLERICAY Boxing Club will be entering six boxers into the National Junior Novice Championships later this month.
Sonny Horvath, Jack McInerney, Harry Cornwell, Joe Gonella, Ollie Hood and Luke Hasson have all passed stringent fitness tests that are carried out regularly at the gym in Lake Meadows and they recently sparred against some of the best quality “open class” boxers in the country.
They are well prepared and the club expect them all to do extremely well in the championships.
The club’s last entry into the junior novices was back in 2009 when Steve Wood went all the way before also taking the national title in Liverpool.
