Full pelt – competitors had to contend with wet conditions on the track
EAST Essex Tri’s aquathlon attracted hundreds of competitors at a wet Basildon Sporting Village.
More than 200 children completed the event which included a run and a swim along with 150 adults.
And East Essex Tri’s athletes enjoyed great success too.
Harry Smith finished first in the male adult event, with Christian Gray second and Harrison Smith third.
Janice Brown took second in the female event and Leon Wheeler did likewise in the boys Tristar three race.
Jonathan Cook finished third in the Boys Tristar.
