WEST Ham United face a tough-looking derby against Arsenal on the opening day of the new Premier League season, it was revealed this morning.

The fixture list was announced at 9am, with new Hammers manager Slaven Bilic facing a difficult ask against the FA Cup holders on Saturday, August 8.

Meanwhile, they play their final ever game at Upton Park against Swansea on Saturday, May 7 on the penultimate weekend of term, before heading to the Olympic Stadium for the 2016/17 campaign.

West Ham host champions Chelsea on Saturday, October 24, with a visit to rivals Tottenham Hotspur a month later (November 21).

It is a visit to Aston Villa on Boxing Day while West Ham will welcome in 2016 with a home game against Liverpool.

Following Arsenal’s opener with the East Londoners, it is a visit to Crystal Palace before an early heavy-weight clash with Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

North London rivals Tottenham visit on Saturday, November 7 before a potentially tricky run of festive fixtures against Manchester City (December 19), Southampton (December 26) and Bournmeouth (December 28).

Arsene Wenger’s men travel to White Hart Lane on March 5 before their season closes against Aston Villa.

Spurs meanwhile have a formidable looking opening day fixture against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Stoke City are the first visitors to White Hart Lane, with newly-promoted Norwich City travelling to London on Boxing Day.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side travel to Merseyside on New Year’s Day to face Everton, with their final two fixtures against Southampton at home (May 7) and at Newcastle United (Sunday, May 15).
