FORMER Southend High School for Boys pupil Morgan Fox has won a first call-up to the Wales senior squad, ahead of two vital Euro 2016 qualifiers this week.

The 21-year-old full-back has been in fine form this season, netting his first ever Charlton Athletic goal against Queens Park Rangers on the opening day, and he will now be linking up with the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey ahead of matches with Cyprus and Israel.

Fox, who is from South Woodham Ferrers, has won seven caps at under-21 level but will now be hoping to play a key part as Chris Coleman’s squad looks to qualify for the Finals held in France next summer.
