A FITZWIMARC School pupil will travel to Rockingham this weekend to compete in the Junior Saloon Car Championships.
Tony Rodriguez, 14, has been go-karting since the age of four and holds the ARD (Association of Racing Drivers) Licence (Junior National B).
Tony said: “I love that I am the only under-18 I know that can say I can drive a car and have been around a race track!
“My ambition is to come in the top 10 in my first year of driving.
“In the future, I would like to be a full-time paid driver. I would love to race GT cars on the Spa Circuit in Belgium.”
