CO-PART of Rochford have agreed to support John Pritchard in the forthcoming Fiesta Sporting Trophy.
The event is a highly competitive one-make rallying championship which will see the competitors travel around the UK to see who is the fastest driver in the country.
Pritchard, who is a former Skoda Trophy champion, is returning to the sport after a lay off of a decade and intends to use the experience he learned during his last stint as a rally driver to take the battle to the batch of young drivers that he will compete against in 2010.
The Fiesta Sporting Trophy is the brainchild of the M-Sport Motorsport Company.
Based in Cumbria, M-Sport run the Ford world rally project and will also sponsor the opening round of the 2010 Fiesta Sporting Trophy.
The series takes in seven rounds across the UK.
Co-part (www.copart.co.uk) is a country-wide car breaker which allows prospective buyers to register their requirements online before being directed to the nearest yard that meets their needs.
The idea has been hugely successful in the United States and in the short time that the business has been based in the United Kingdom it has grown in stature rapidly.
