Making history - Woodlands School
Joining them in the younger of the two age-groups are the Eastwood Academy and Basildon’s Woodlands School who have qualified for the first time, much to the delight of Jon Bonnett, the school’s head of elite sport and development “It’s the first time we’ve made the final and that is a great feeling,” said Bonnett.
“I started in this post in September and we have done brilliantly.
“We now want to finish in the top three and I think we can do well.
“It has been better than I thought it would go but we want to achieve more.”
