THURSDAY'S FA affiliated indoor community five-a-side league at Thundersley's SEEVIC College saw Rundel PR defeat Shooters 4-2 despite having their goalkeeper dismissed in the second half.
The dismissal let Shooters back into the match for a period but Rundel hung on for the points.
Avalon Athletic and Dynamo Seevic locked horns in the second match of the night and the latter ran out comfortable 6-1 winners.
Dominic King was dismissed for Avalon and is likely to face a lengthy suspension.
The sending off was the second of the night and only the second of the season as the league has been played in an extremely sporting manner by all teams this season.
Benfleet Utd were 5-0 winners against Vank FC and they remain on course for the title with a one-point advantage over Kingdown Cobras, who recorded the biggest win of the season as they saw off Awesome FC 15-2.
The victory was actually the biggest margin since the league kicked off almost a year ago with virtually everything that Cobras hit ending up in the net.
