SOUTHEND Saxons surged back to winning ways in National Two South this afternoon, beating Dings Crusaders 52-14 at Warners Bridge.
The Saxons had been beaten in their opening two games of the season but were able to come out on top this time around.
Westcliff were less fortunate though and their 27-5 defeat at Hertford meant they have now lost their first three games of the National Three London & SE this season.
In London One North, Rochford Hundred won 20-0 at local rivals Basildon but South Woodham Ferrers lost 16-5 at Chelmsford.
In Essex One, Canvey Island triumphed 36-0 at Pegasus Palmerians.
