ROCHFORD Hundred will be looking to keep their good run of results going when they head to bottom of the table Old Cooperians in London Two North East this weekend.

Third placed Rochford have triumphed in seven of their last eight outings.

But, as they bid to secure another victory, Hundred will be without captain Sam Tape who was injured in last Saturday’s 32-27 win against Saffron Walden.

Dan Needham and Richard Mott are also unavailable but number eight Scott Horsburgh is back in the team, meaning Greg White will partner Harry Brooker in the second row.

Adam Ashton comes back in at stand-off and Rochford’s first team manager Graham Pratt is hopeful of a successful afternoon.

“We haven’t played the Old Boys at first team level for many years but we should have enough power and skill to get a good result,” said Pratt.

“Hopefully we can knock up a few points too.”

Ninth placed Basildon beat Old Cooperians 19-10 last weekend and will now be looking to build on that win when they head to Holt, the team just below them in the table, tomorrow.

But South Woodham Ferrers, who are eighth in the table, face a tougher looking test at sixth placed Saffron Walden.

In London Three North East, winless Billericay are at home to ninth placed Stowmarket while in Essex One seventh placed Canvey Island host table topping May & Baker who have won all seven of their league games so far this season.
