ROCHFORD Hundred suffered their second defeat in three games, losing 5-0 at Norwich.

The narrow margin of the defeat meant Rochford did at least pick up a losing bonus point.

But it was also the first time in more than a season that they failed to score during a match.

And that frustrated their first team manager Graham Pratt.

“We could not break down the home team’s good defence and when we did a lack of cohesion ,handling errors and other incorrect options ,together with an absence of finishing power let us down,” said Pratt.

“These are problems that could and should be sorted out on the training pitch.

“There were still some good individual efforts from a number of players but from a team performance view it left a lot to be desired.”

In a dour struggle between two evenly matched sides where both sides had their chances but it was Norwich that scored the important try right in the final seconds of the first half to come out on top.

The defeat kept Rochford fifth in the table, 13 points behind leaders Diss but Hundred do still have a game in hand.
