THURROCK will be looking to topple London One leaders Brentwood as they bid to get back to winning ways this weekend.

T’s suffered their first defeat of the season last time out, losing 42-34 at home to Old Priorians.

And Thurrock’s director of rugby Dean White is keen to see an immediate reaction against the table toppers.

“We will be looking to bounce back but Brentwood are on a roll at the moment and have had a very good start to the season,” warned White.

“We have sent people down a few times to watch and analyse them and the feedback is that they are very strong this season. “But we will again be focusing on our team and looking to put in a good performance on the road.

“We are yet to be beaten away this season and we want to keep this form going.”

However, something will have to give this weekend as Brentwood have won all six of their matches this season.

They also sit four points clear of their nearest rivals but White is not heaping extra significance on the match.

“We will be taking this as just another league game,” stressed White.

“People will be hyping this game up as a big local derby but we are just taking each game as it comes.

“If we get our processes right then we can cause them problems, but if we don't and they play well then it will be a tough day.”
