THURROCK will be looking to bounce back from two successive defeats when they host Letchworth Garden City in London One North tomorrow.

Two setbacks in a row have seen Thurrock slip to fourth in the standings.

But their director of rugby Dean White is keen to get back on track against their ninth placed visitors.

“We are hoping for a very positive response this week,” said White.

“Training has been fantastic and the team can’t wait to get onto the field.

“We have been concentrating on our processes and really want to put an 80 minute performance in.

“In the past two games we switched off for a small period of time and it cost us.

“We don't want this to happen again.”

Despite the defeats, Thurrock remain just eight points off the top of the table.

And White remains confident of staying in the race for promotion.

“Four or five teams have every chance of promotion and we must keep improving each week to give ourselves the best chance come the end of the season,” said White.

“I honestly don't see any team going undefeated all season so we need to be in a good position once others slip up.

“It’s going to be close but this is a tough league with no easy games and again this week Letchworth will be hard opponents.”
