WESTCLIFF will be bidding to complete the double over Gravesend in National Three London & SE tomorrow.

Westcliff, who are already relegated, beat the Kent club 30-8 at the Gables in December.

And director of rugby Nick Sigwart now hopes to be able to beat Gravesend for the second time this season.

“We beat Gravesend at home earlier in the season so we know this is another winnable game,” said Sigwart.

“But our record against them away from home is poor so we are under no illusions as to the game we will need to bring. “

Westcliff head into the game sitting five points clear of Gravesend who have also been relegated.

And Sigwart is demanding an improved display.

“We should have won last week against Bracknell but our performance wasn't good enough,” he said.

“We created enough chances to beat Bracknell and, in what has been a very tough season, we really need to take those opportunities when they present themselves.”

Westcliff will be missing wingers Jon Sigwart and Jack Gray this weekend and are also waiting on the fitness of back row Jeff Meredith, centre James Crossley and fly-half Chris Dudman.
