JACKSON Wray helped Saracens beat Exeter Chiefs 28-20 in the Premiership final at Twickenham this afternoon.

The former King John School pupil, who started his career at Westcliff, played the final 31 minutes of the entertaining clash.

And the 25-year-old was overjoyed at the end of the game as Saracens became the first English side to complete a domestic and European double since 2004.

Saracens dominated the first half and led 23-6 at half-time thanks to tries from Duncan Tyler and Chris Wyles.

However, Exeter hit back in the second half as Jack Yeandle and Jack Nowell both touched down as Rob Baxter’s side got to within three points of Saracens.

However, Sarries replied with a try from man of the match Andy Goode to ensure their memorable season ended on a high.
