ENGLAND rugby star Emily Scott cannot wait to take on the world’s top team, New Zealand, tomorrow.

The former Seevic College student, who lives in Corringham, will start the game on the bench.

But she is chomping at the bit to be involved at the Stoop.

“I’m really excited about facing the Black Ferns,” said Scott.

“It’s not often we get to face them, so when we do we relish the challenge.

“They’re currently number one in the world rankings and we’re the current World Cup holders, so it’s sure to be a fantastic game.

“Anyone heading to Twickenham for the men’s game between England and Fiji should head down a little bit earlier at watch us at the Stoop at 12pm.”

Scott came off the bench in England’s 10-5 win against France and has already adjusted back to playing 15-a-side having previously been part of Team GB’s sevens squad at the Olympics.

“Fifteens is something I’ve grown up playing and not having played it for the last year, it’s been something I’ve really been looking forward to getting back to,” she said.

“I think that energy and drive makes the transition easier.”
