THURROCK'S director of rugby Dean White was left suffering mixed emotions following his side’s 18-18 draw with Old Priorians.

White was pleased with T’s ability to create try scoring chances but remained frustrated not to have won.

“I have mixed emotions from Saturday’s game,” said White.

“We again played some great attacking rugby but our conversion rate wasn’t good enough.

“You have to finish chances off in this league and if you don’t you leave the game too close.

“Old P’s are the sort of side that can score from anything and they scored with the last play of the game to draw the game.

“These things happen if you’re not 100 per cent on your game which is frustrating.

“Our forwards gave us fantastic set piece ball but we never really made the most of it.

“However, we will take the two points, dust ourselves down and move on to the next game now.”

The draw keeps Thurrock fifth in the London One North table ahead of Saturday’s clash with Saffron Walden
