ROCHFORD Hundred will be looking for a fourth win in a row when they head to Romford & Gidea Park in London Two North East tomorrow.

Rochford’s good run of results has seen them rise to sixth in the table, five points below fourth placed Romford.

And Hundred’s first team manager Graham Pratt is keen to close that gap this weekend.

“There are only five points between both teams and that will be a big spur to the boys who have it in them to get a good result,” said Pratt.

“We want to continue our winning run but we know that will not be an easy task against a team two positions higher than us.

“But we’re playing as a team now and have a number of players than inspire other members of the squad.

“Unfortunately our number eight Greg Whight is not available this week so (first team coach) Michael Guess is looking at other options.

“The team is yet to be finalised but Romford will know they will not be getting an easy ride against us.”

In London One North tomorrow, sixth placed Thurrock host Eton Manor who are immediately above them in the standings.

T’s have been beaten in four of their last five games and will be desperate to get back on track to move closer to Romford who are currently eight points above them in the standings.

In London Three North East this weekend, eighth placed Basildon are at home to bottom of the table Ilford Wanderers looking to end a run of six successive defeats.

In Essex Premier One, second placed Canvey Island face an important encounter against third placed Millwall who are just one point below them in the table.

Bottom of the league Billericay are at home to fifth placed Clacton while Stanford le Hope, who sit fourth, are at home to table-topping Braintree, who have yet to lose a game so far this season.
