SOUTHEND Saxons will be looking to build on their first win of the season when they head to Tunbridge Wells in the London & SE Premier Division tomorrow.
Southend edged out Sutton & Epsom 32-31 last weekend and director of rugby Martin Jones is now seeking more of the same tomorrow.
“The win will have made a little bit of difference and we want to build on it now,” said Jones.
“We were disappointed to only get two points in our last away game and we will want more tomorrow.
“We know Tunbridge Wells will be targeting us but we’ve analysed them and have our own game plan to challenge them.”
Southend will be without Chris Vaughan and Tom Ramsey tomorrow meaning Adam Dobson will start at fly-half.
George Wood will switch to centre and Blue Newton coming back into the pack.
