ROCHFORD Hundred will be seeking a ninth league win in succession when they head to Old Cooperians this weekend.

Table-topping Rochford have won all eight of their matches in London Two North East this term.

But Hundred fly-half Matt Needham believes tomorrow’s clash will be another tough test.

“We know every game this season is going to be difficult as every team in the league wants to steal a win from the team at top,” said the 17-year-old.

“We just need to stick to our processes and focus on what we’re good at and we should get the win”

Rochford certainly did last weekend as they saw off Harlow 65-0, much to the delight of Needham.

“It was great to get another win last week but it was even better that we finally stopped the other team scoring which shows the development occurring in our defensive structure.

“But we obviously don’t want to be overconfident and go into each game expecting a win. That’s why we need to keep focused in training and turn up to each game focused but still having the belief within our team that we can perform.”
