Rochford Hundred want to finish a successful season in style when they take on Romford and Gidea Park in the final of the Essex Intermediate Cup at Thurrock tomorrow.
Hundred have already clinched the London Three North East championship. And they are now looking to make it a double.
“We want to finish a very successful season on a high but know that Romford will present a formidable task if we are to beat them for a third time this season,” said Rochford’s first team manager Graham Pratt.
“We hope to be able to field a pretty strong side apart from young George Chipper, who broke his collar bone a few weeks ago.
“It is a big disappointment for him and us that he will be missing as he has been one of the stars this season.
“The inspirational Matt Norris plays his last first team game and will be sorely missed.
“But I am sure he will want to finish with a bang and it would be fitting reward for all the effort and work that coach Dean Cutting and his staff and the whole squad have put in this campaign.”
