Westcliff will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host bottom of the table Luton in National League Three London & SE tomorrow.
Westcliff have not triumphed in their last three outings.
But they will be confident of recording a vital victory at Aviation Way this weekend.
Westcliff’s cause will again not be helped by injuries though as prop Ewan Binneman and utility back Jon Sigwart have both been ruled out.
Scrum half Ben Jones is also away in the United States and, as a result, Ian Dartnell, James Scoggins and Conor O'Brien come into contention for a place in the starting line-up for what Westcliff’s press officer Geoff Sawyer feels is a huge match for the club.
"This is a big game for us in more than one way,” said Saywer.
“While we are not in the relegation zone, a few more points in the bag will take us further away from it.
"Luton are definitely a banana skin in waiting and, in all sports, bottom of the league teams are able to spring surprises.
“However, the boys played exceptionally well against the team at the other end of the table last weekend when they took the lead against Canterbury.
“They were also level-pegging at the break before going down 33-19 so that will definitely give them confidence.”
