SOUTHEND Rugby Club ended their first ever season at National League Two level with a 27-23 defeat at Stourbridge this afternoon.
The Seasiders did lead 13-8 at half time and managed to score two tries with both Tyson Lewis and Richard Gill touching down.
But their high-flying hosts hit back to grab the win which meant Southend finished the campaign in eighth.
